Hi, I’m Eleen — the Fresh Milled Baker.
For years, I built a life in corporate America. It was structured, ambitious, and fast-paced. But when I became a mother, everything shifted. I chose to step away from that world to raise my son, serve my husband, and build something meaningful inside the walls of my own home.
Baking had always been part of my life. It was my creative outlet, my therapy, my way of loving people well. But after having my son, I began paying closer attention to what we were putting in our bodies and how it was actually making us feel.
That’s when I discovered fresh milled flour.
The difference was immediate. Bread made from freshly milled whole wheat berries didn’t just taste better, it felt different. It supported my digestion, gave steady energy, and brought back the deep, nutty flavor real grain is meant to have. I realized most of what we call “whole wheat” today is stripped, processed, and months old before it ever reaches your kitchen.
Fresh milled flour is alive. It contains the full bran, germ, and natural oils — the nutrients and integrity God placed inside the grain from the beginning.
What started as baking for my own family turned into a mission: to share this living bread with others. Bread that nourishes. Bread that satisfies. Bread made slowly, intentionally, and without shortcuts.
Fresh Milled Breads was born from that conviction. A little rebellious against the modern food system, fully devoted to real ingredients, and deeply rooted in family.
From wheat berry to warm loaf, every batch is milled fresh in my kitchen and baked with purpose.
